Blackberry Glazed Wings with Dipping Sauce

  • Serves: 6
  • 1 Clove garlic
  • 1 Tsp. salt
  • 1 Tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1 Package (6 ounces) Driscoll's Blackberries
  • 1/4 Cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 Cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 Cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 Cup dark beer
  • 12 chicken wings
  • Place chicken wings in large mixing bowl.
  • Combine berries, oil, lemon juice, Worcestershire, beer, garlic, salt and pepper in a blender; blend until smooth. Set aside 3/4 cup sauce for dipping.
  • Pour remaining sauce over wings in a bowl; toss to coat thoroughly. Cover and refrigerate 2 to 4 hours or overnight.
  • Preheat over to 450°F. Line a baking sheet or roasting pan with foil and coat with nonstick spray. Shake excess marinade off wings and place on pan. (Discard marinade.)
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until cooked through and well browned.
  • Serve warm or cool with reserved dipping sauce.
