1 bottle red wine

1 cup apple cider

1/2 cup brandy (or bourbon)

1/4 cup maple syrup

1 package Driscoll's blackberries

Zest from 1 orange + orange slices

4 cloves

2 cinnamon sticks

2 star anise

Rosemary sprigs (optional for garnish)


Directions

COMBINE red wine, apple cider, brandy, maple syrup, Driscoll's blackberries, orange zest, orange slices, cloves, cinnamon sticks, and star anise in a medium pot.

HEAT on low for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally. (Do not allow the mixture to boil.)

REMOVE from heat and DISCARD spices.

SERVE warm, garnished with an orange slice and a fresh blackberry.
