    Serves: 16 long stem strawberries
  • 1 Package Driscoll's Long Stem Strawberries
  • 6 Ounces chocolate
  • 3 Tablespoons full fat coconut milk or heavy cream
  • 1 Tbsp. virgin coconut oil or butter
  • Rinse and dry the strawberries. Make sure you dry them well with a soft cloth. You do not want water on the berries when you dip them in chocolate.
  • Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a double boiler melt the chocolate over simmering water. Be sure the bowl or pot does not touch the water. Once chocolate is melted stir in the butter (or coconut oil) and the heavy cream (or coconut milk.)Remove the chocolate from the heat and scoop into a bowl.
  • Have sprinkles & toppings ready in individual bowls for dipping. Dip strawberries one by one in melted chocolate. Let the excess chocolate drip back into the bowl. If you want, immediately after coating the berry with chocolate, dip the berry in the toppings too.
  • After dipping lay the dipped strawberry on the lined baking sheet. Repeat with remaining berries. Let dipped strawberries cool for about 30 minutes then place them in the refrigerator for about 1 hour until the chocolate has firmed up. Enjoy!
