About the Opportunity
The Program Management Intern will work with the Product Leadership group in the Americas. This group delivers each berry´s 5-year strategic plan. The group is comprised of each berry‘s (strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and blueberries) product leader, supply director and Mexico supply manager plus the New Products Lead and the business process owner for the long range enterprise planning track of our integrated business planning software implementation. As a key member of the team, the intern will be responsible for driving efficiency for our team, mainly through enhancing meeting productivity and optimizing plane use. Collaboration, engagement, strong orientation to details and a lot of communication with all Product Leadership team members and other departments are very important competencies needed to reach the expectations of the position.Responsibilities
• Drive meeting productivity: including scheduling, agendas, content consolidation, note taking, follow-ups/ action items, meeting sites, food and lodging when applicable (most meetings are still remote)
• Optimize and manage plane use, ensuring that seats are full, and we are taking complete advantage of time on the ground. (Manage plane scheduling, sharing flight info with passengers, agendas while on site, on-the-ground logistics, hotels, and meals).
• Manage activities (beyond meetings and travel) in collaboration with all Product Leadership team members to accomplish planned growth
• Contribute to the Business Unit’s people priorities and objectives regarding people leader effectiveness, engaged employees, and enabling others to perform
• Represent Driscoll’s in an ethical and business-like professional manner in all interactions with growers, co-workers, suppliers, customers, and the business community at large
• Create and edit content for Product Leadership Team, growers and other departments
• Partner cross-functionally with both internal and external technical and business stakeholders
• Coordinate the involvement of external resources as needed to support the projects or activities
• Maintain and safely archive all project related documentation
Candidate Profile
Requirements
• Currently enrolled in or recent graduate from a Bachelor’s degree program in Business, Communications, or related field
• Strong communication skills (verbal communication, presentation skills, and business writing)
• Project management skills - ability to plan, manage and report on multiple projects simultaneously
• Great service attitude
• High degree of curiosity
• Commitment to quality/ pride of authorship
• Seeks continuous improvement, both in self and in work processes
• Self-starter: understands job responsibilities and manages self to achieve objectives
• Ability to independently set priorities and multitask
• Problem-solving skills
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.)
Preferred Qualifications & Leadership Competencies
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
• A valid passport and the ability to travel internationally without restrictions

Compensation & Benefits:
The following information is provided in good faith as a general description of the hourly range and benefits for the position posted. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate is dependent upon experience, skills, education, work location, internal pay equity, and other objective job-related factors.
Hourly Range estimated for the Program Management Intern: $18 - $22 USD/hour.
