Blackberry Hot Toddy

  • Serves: 1 serving
  • 2 Ounces bourbon whiskey
  • 1 Tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 Tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 Pinch brown sugar, plus more for edge of glass
  • 4 Ounces hot water or mild, brewed tea
  • 1/2 of a 6-ounce package Driscoll's Blackberries, plus 1 for garnish
  • 1 lemon wedge
  • 1 vanilla stick
  • Smash blackberries with back of fork through sieve and capture juice in microwave-safe bowl or glass pitcher. Add whiskey, sugar, vanilla, juice from lemon wedge, and hot water or tea to blackberry mixture and stir until sugar is dissolved.

    Prepare glass by running lemon wedge along rim of glass and dip glass in brown sugar. Pour into prepared glass and garnish with fresh blackberry and vanilla stick.
