As consumer expectations evolve, our close-knit Digital Marketing team is looking for a Marketing Community Associate Manager who is passionate about storytelling, digital innovation, and creating meaningful consumer connections. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape how our brand shows up in the digital world—crafting scroll-stopping content, bringing powerful stories to life, and leveraging digital tools to engage and inspire. As a key member of the Brand Marketing department, the Marketing Community Associate Manager will help drive brand-building efforts that increase awareness, spark demand, and deepen affinity among our core berry-loving audience. In this position, you will lead the development and execution of an integrated digital content strategy across multiple platforms and touchpoints. From web to social to email, you’ll oversee the creation of hundreds of highly visible consumer-facing communications—ensuring each one is on-brand, on-strategy, and crafted with excellence. This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, along with the agility to adapt in a fast-paced, ever-evolving digital landscape. ***IMPORTANT: This position requires on-site work at our Watsonville, California office. Remote work is not available. Applicants must reside within a commutable distance or be willing to relocate independently. Responsibilities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

CONTENT DEVELOPMENT: Plan, develop, and execute content strategies across the Driscoll’s digital ecosystem (web, social, email) to inspire and engage Consumers to create an emotional connection that expands our brand equity. This includes creating and socializing content strategies and managing editorial calendars. Source, build, and maintain a library of image and video assets for use across digital platforms. Produce creative briefs that demonstrate a clear overview of goals, business requirements, opportunities, and success metrics.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Collaborate within the Brand Marketing team and cross-functional teams to maximize the impact of Driscoll's digital performance. Lead creative agencies to ensure projects are aligned with Driscoll’s brand architecture, communication strategy, timelines, and budget.

DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY: Align digital strategic initiatives through the use of technology across owned platforms to ensure long-term best practices. This includes becoming the subject matter expert on one or more technological platforms (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Hootsuite etc.), and ongoing assessment of these technological platforms to ensure that digital goals are met. Additionally, leverage digital tools to establish efficient systematic approaches to planning core Digital Marketing activities.

DATA, ANALYTICS, KPIs: Increase Consumer engagement and acquisition across the Driscoll’s digital ecosystem (web, social, loyalty) through data driven insights that inform the creative process. This includes identifying opportunities of synergy across digital platforms to forge a cohesive Consumer experience; leveraging digital data and insights as inputs for brand marketing campaign strategies; and applying test and learn methodologies to maximize campaign performance.

GLOBAL BEST PRACTICES: Provide leadership and guidance to global partners across business units on best practices for social media planning, content development, platform management, and digital governance.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage a set of GL codes within the Brand Marketing budget
  • Vendor management and collaboration
  • Responsible for managing activities in collaboration with cross-functional departments to accomplish projects.
  • Represents Driscoll’s in an ethical and business-like professional manner in all interactions with growers, co-workers, suppliers, customers and the business community at large.
  • Ensure the security of Driscoll’s confidential and proprietary information and materials.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Occasional domestic and international travel required.

Candidate Profile

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer. We are unable to sponsor or assume sponsorship of employment visas now or in the future.
  • B.S. or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration
  • 3–5 years of marketing experience in a fast-paced or consumer-focused environment
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in managing multiple projects and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic data/statistics tools
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, Twitter)
  • Strong grasp of digital marketing trends, B2C engagement strategies, and performance tracking
  • Skills in content creation, including photography, Reels, and basic editing, are a strong plus
  • Valid California driver’s license and eligibility under company-sponsored vehicle insurance
  • Valid passport and ability to travel internationally without restrictions

Compensation & Benefits:

The following information is provided in good faith as a general description of the salary range and benefits for the position posted.  The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate is dependent upon experience, skills, education, work location, internal pay equity, and other objective job-related factors. 

The U.S. salary range estimated for this role is:  $69,578 to $89,000
