About the Opportunity

Responsible for delivering comprehensive administrative and organisational support across staff training, inductions, PPE, and compliance documentation. Ensures all activities align with product safety, legality, authenticity, and quality standards, while upholding site policies and procedures. Maintains high standards of health & safety, hygiene, security, and environmental practices. Embodies Driscoll’s core values of passion, humility, and trustworthiness in all professional interactions.

Responsibilities

• Organising and delivering induction and refresher training courses for Driscoll’s and agency staff
• Organising and delivering all other training as required
• Creating and updating training records
• Keeping training matrixes up to date
• Coordinate training for other departments
• Keep up to date all centrally based paperwork, including calibration records, archive paperwork and any other required documentation.
• Keep all packhouse equipment calibrated by organising calibrations with third party on time.
• Assist with collecting paperwork during the audits.
• Maintain sufficient PPE stock and lockers for site personnel.
• Make sure that all staff and visitors have required PPE.
• Other ad hoc duties as required.

Candidate Profile

• Evidence of extensive experience working in a comparable role, preferably within the soft fruit industry
• Strong appreciation of our business needs    
• Ability to relate to key client personnel in a professional and credible manner.
• Well-developed personal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with a wide range of employees.
• Creativity and ability to present information and training in an engaging manner.
• Ability to delegate effectively and to follow-up as appropriate.
• Ability to work as part of a team with colleagues across professional, operational and cultural boundaries.
• Proactive approach and prompt responses to all service requests
•  Ability to identify needs and issues and recommend suitable and pragmatic courses of action and solutions, adopting a risk aware approach.
•  Good time management and ability to handle several tasks at once and meeting deadlines as required.
•  Very good organisational skills with ability to prioritise.
•  Good IT skills including experience of Word and Excel
