About the Opportunity

The Brand Design Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping, evolving, and stewarding our brand across every consumer touchpoint. Reporting to the Director of Brand and Digital Marketing, this role is responsible for driving the development of a compelling brand identity and architecture, leading creative direction, and bringing the brand to life through immersive campaigns and experiential marketing programs. This role will manage a team, including a Graphic Design Manager and a Brand Marketing Specialist, and collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders in Sales, Customer Development, Shopper Marketing Product Innovation and external partners to execute high-impact initiatives that elevate brand awareness and strengthen consumer connection. Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Architecture
•    Develop and manage clear brand architecture, for packaging portfolio and new products, including collaboration with agency partners and new products team to ensure alignment between product positioning and overall brand strategy
•    Define and guide brand strategy that reflect the brand’s core values and resonate with target consumers, ensuring consistency across packaging, marketing communications, and all consumer-facing touchpoints
•    Drive consumer brand research to understand brand perception, market trends, and consumer insights to inform brand architecture decisions 
Creative Direction & Brand Content Development
•    Own the creative vision and oversee the development of brand assets, ensuring visual identity consistency across all materials
•    Manage external creative partners, agencies, and vendors to deliver high-quality design and content, including developing sharp creative briefs
•    Lead the experiential marketing strategy, developing impactful and memorable brand experiences for consumers while managing vendors and budgets
•    Evaluate, present, and execute new brand marketing opportunities across touchpoints, including brand experiences and activations
Brand Consistency & Stewardship
•    Maintain a consistent brand experience across all touchpoints, ensuring a cohesive and compelling brand presence while incorporating innovative storytelling
•    Manage and evolve the visual identity system and brand guidelines, ensuring alignment with global brand positioning across all consumer-facing materials
•    Lead brand guideline training sessions and refreshers for internal and external stakeholders
•    Conduct bi-annual brand audits to ensure consistency and adherence to global brand standards
Budget Management
•    Develop and manage designated components of the annual marketing budget, covering design, branding projects, experiential marketing and promotional activities
•    Ensure efficient and effective allocation of resources, keeping expenditures within budgetary parameters while maximizing brand impact
People Management 
•    Lead, mentor, and develop the Graphic Design Manager and Brand Marketing Specialist, fostering a collaborative and engaging team environment
•    Provide clear direction, performance coaching, and professional development opportunities to enhance team effectiveness

Candidate Profile

•    Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, design, communications, or related field
•    7+ years in Brand Marketing 
•    Professional Experience with Brand Strategy, Brand Management, and Brand Visual Identity
•    Strong knowledge of brand strategy, brand architecture, and design principles
•    Packaging design and product branding, preferably in CPG
•    Microsoft Office – Advanced 
•    Digital Asset Management Platform – Basic 
•    3+ years people management experience

Compensation & Benefits:

The following information is provided in good faith as a general description of the salary range and benefits for the position posted.  The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate is dependent upon experience, skills, education, work location, internal pay equity, and other objective job-related factors.

Salary Range estimated for the Brand Design Manager: $105,000 to $140,000 USD.
