• 1 Cup pitted dates
  • 1/4 Cup warm water
  • 1/4 Cup almond butter
  • 2 Tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/4 Cup cocoa powder
  • 1 Package (16 ounces) Driscoll’s Strawberries
  • Vine tomatoes, sliced cucumbers, popcorn, as desired
  1. PREPARE a shallow bento box.
  2. PLACE 1 cup dates into a blender.
  3. ADD 1/4 cup water.
  4. BLEND on high speed until creamy.
  5. ADD 1/4 cup almond butter and 2 tablespoons maple syrup.
  6. BLEND again until creamy.
  7. ADD 1/4 cup cocoa powder and BLEND again until creamy.
  8. STORE chocolate spread in refrigerator until ready to use.
  9. SLICE strawberries lengthwise.
  10. SLIDE strawberries onto wooden skewers.
  11. PLACE strawberry skewers into bento box.
  12. ADD vine tomatoes, cucumbers, popcorn, etc. to bento box.
  13. PLACE plenty of chocolate spread into bento box.
