Jalapeño Simple Syrup
  • 1/2 Cup water
  • 1/2 Cup sugar
  • 5 Driscoll's Blackberries
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, deseeded and chopped
Blackberry Vodka Cocktail
  • 5 Driscoll’s Blackberries, plus more for garnish
  • 2 Ounces vodka
  • 1/2 Oz. fresh lime juice
  • 1 Tsp. jalapeño simple syrup
  • 2 mint leaves, plus more for garnish
  • Ice
  • Club soda
  • 1 jalapeno slice, for garnish
Jalapeño Simple Syrup
  1. POUR 1/2 cup water into a small saucepan.
  2. ADD 1/2 cup sugar.
  3. ADD 5 blackberries.
  4. ADD 1 deseeded and chopped jalapeno.
  5. BRING to a boil over high heat.
  6. STRAIN out solids for mild cocktails or LEAVE IN solids for a spicier drink.
  7. TRANSFER simple syrup to a small container and chill until needed.
Blackberry Vodka Cocktail
  1. PLACE 5 blackberries into a cocktail shaker.
  2. ADD 2 ounces vodka.
  3. MASH blackberries with a muddler or a spoon.
  4. ADD 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice.
  5. ADD 1 teaspoon simple syrup.
  6. ADD 2 mint leaves.
  7. FILL cocktail shaker with ice.
  8. COVER securely and SHAKE until cocktail shaker is frosted.
  9. STRAIN into a cocktail tumbler filled with ice.
  10. TOP with club soda.
  11. GARNISH with blackberries, jalapeno, and fresh mint.
  12. SERVE immediately.
