Ingredients
- 4 Packages (6 ounces each) Driscoll's Blackberries
- 3 Tablespoons Cornstarch
- 1/4 Cup Sugar plus 1 teaspoon, divided
- 2 Cups All-purpose flour
- 1 1/4 Cups plus 1 teaspoon sugar, divided
- 4 Packages (6 ounces each) Driscoll's Blackberries
- 2 Teaspoons Baking powder
- 1 1/2 Sticks unsalted butter, melted
- 3 Tablespoons Cornstarch
Directions
- PREHEAT oven to 350°F.
- PLACE blackberries into a medium bowl.
- ADD ¼ cup sugar.
- ADD cornstarch.
- STIR blackberry mixture gently until berries are evenly coated.
- POUR blackberry mixture into an 8-inch or 9-inch square baking dish.
- SET ASIDE blackberry mixture.
- PLACE flour into a medium bowl.
- ADD 1 cup sugar.
- ADD baking powder.
- WHISK flour mixture until combined.
- ADD melted butter.
- STIR flour mixture with a fork until dough comes together. Do not over-mix.
- GATHER dough together with fingers.
- DIVIDE dough into 9 loose balls.
- FLATTEN balls into discs about 1/2-inch thick.
- PLACE dough discs on top of blackberry mixture, spacing evenly.
- SPRINKLE dough discs with remaining 1 teaspoon sugar.
- BAKE cobbler 50 to 55 minutes or until berries are bubbling and dough is golden brown.
- COOL SLIGHTLY on a wire rack before serving.
