Ingredients
- 5 Tablespoons honey
- 2 Tablespoons chopped fresh basil
- 1 demi baguette, sliced (about 16‐18 slices)
- 1/2 of a 16- Oz. package Driscoll’s Strawberries, hulled and sliced
- Sea salt flakes
- Additional basil leaves, sliced for garnish
- 1-2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 9 Ounces brie, cut into 1⁄4-inch slices
Directions
- PREHEAT oven to 350°F.
- POUR 5 tablespoons honey into a small bowl.
- STIR IN 2 tablespoons chopped basil.
- SET ASIDE basil-honey as you continue recipe to allow flavors to infuse.
- ARRANGE baguette slices on a large baking sheet.
- BRUSH olive oil lightly over both sides of each slice.
- BAKE 4-5 minutes or until lightly golden.
- TURN baguette slices and BAKE for additional 4-5 minutes.
- REMOVE from oven.
- PLACE one slice of brie onto each baguette slice while still warm.
- DRIZZLE basil-honey over each baguette slice.
- LAYER sliced strawberries onto each baguette slice.
- SPRINKLE lightly with sea salt flakes and GARNISH with sliced basil leaves.
- SERVE immediately.
