Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup milk of choice
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 – 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
- 1 large egg
- Cinnamon
- 1 package (6 ounces) Driscoll’s Blackberries
- Candy eyes
- Maple syrup
Directions
- PLACE 1 cup all-purpose flour into a large mixing bowl.
- ADD 3/4 cup milk of choice.
- ADD 2 tablespoons sugar.
- ADD 2 teaspoons baking powder.
- WHISK to combine.
- SET ASIDE flour mixture.
- MELT 1 tablespoon butter and ADD to mixing bowl.
- ADD 1 large egg.
- WHISK until batter is smooth.
- TRANSFER batter to a squeeze bottle.
- HEAT a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- ADD 1 teaspoon unsalted butter and SWIRL skillet to distribute.
- SQUEEZE batter onto skillet in a spider web shape.
- COOK 1 – 2 minutes until bubbles form and do not disappear.
- FLIP and COOK 1 – 2 minutes until bottom is golden.
- TRANSFER spiderweb pancake to a serving platter or large plate.
- REPEAT with remaining batter and ADD butter to skillet as needed to prevent sticking.
- DUST pancakes with cinnamon.
- GARNISH with blackberries.
- PLACE candy eyes on blackberries to resemble spiders.
- DRIZZLE with maple syrup.
- SERVE immediately.
