About the Opportunity

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst. This role does not require specific experience in imports or tariffs but good attention to details and data management. This person will be responsible for coordinating and managing databases related to the import/imposed Tariffs for fruit imported into the US coming from different countries, ensuring the efficient and accurate Tariff calculations and flow of information between all areas involved such as finance, accounts payable, customs compliance and, sales & operational Planning. This person will create and improve internal processes to secure an accurate Tariff balance, as well as ensuring that information is kept up to date and organized.

Responsibilities

• Improve current processes and create new ones, to manage Tariff calculations, Tariff deduction and Reconciliation

• Work closely with the different local S&OP teams to get the right data and documents from Growers on timely matter (Invoices with the right estimated price, bill of lading, Freight and insurance)

• Check preliminary Tariff calculation as fruit arrives at US Port based on Grower documentation and what our broker pay at time of entry

• Ensure that DOTA Grower Settlement teams receive the correct preliminary Tariff amounts to be deducted in settlement every week

• Perform the internal reconciliation 3 or 4 times during the season to calculate the real value to be reconcile with Grower and CBP

• Provide the DOTA Grower Settlement teams with the correct Tariff amounts and ensure all adjustments are done during the season

• Provide all documentation and information required for the actual reconciliation with CBP

• Ensure all documents, information and evidence are kept up to date and well organized for the case CBP requires an audit

• Provide support for the local S&OP Teams to answer Tariff related questions and deductions from Growers

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree

• Fluent in English

• 2 years of experience with Data Analytics and managing Databases.

• Advanced Excel skills.

• Cross functional collaboration experience.

• Experience influencing decisions and stakeholders. (Excellent presentation skills)
