About the Opportunity

Join our dynamic Market Insights team as a Market Insights Analyst and play a pivotal role in shaping Driscoll's strategy! You’ll be at the heart of driving key initiatives by analyzing data to uncover actionable insights that directly influence sales, marketing, new product development, product business management and overall business decisions. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and be a key player in our growth story. **IMPORTANT: Please note that we do not offer sponsorship for immigration or work authorization for this role. This position requires on-site work four days per week at our Guadalajara, Mexico or Watsonville, California office. Remote work is not available for this role.**

Responsibilities

  • Market & Customer Insights: Utilize syndicated data (Circana, Nielsen, POS, loyalty card data) to identify trends and opportunities. Driving berry growth through analytics, customer planning, and strategic initiatives.
  • Strategic Customer Analysis: Support Customer Development and Sales teams with data-driven insights, performance tracking, assessment of the industry landscape and timely reporting.
  • Value-Added Analysis & Recommendations: Monitor secondary research sources (Hartman, Kantar, U.S. Government) for actionable insights.
  • Long-Term Demand Planning: Manage five-year customer and demand planning efforts, ensuring alignment with core customers across various channels.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner across departments to align insights with business goals and drive data-driven decisions.
  • New Growth Channels and Markets: Support the assessment and expansion into new channels (Food, Specialty, online, convenience) and new markets (Canada & Mexico) by identifying growth opportunities, and optimizing execution through data-driven insights and analysis.
  • Database Management & Integration: Manage internal and external databases, ensuring seamless data integration.
  • Annual Go-to-Market Planning: Develop and manage annual customer plans, supporting planning processes, analytics, and stakeholder updates.

Candidate Profile

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States or Mexico without the need for current or future sponsorship for immigration or work authorization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  •  3+ years in an analytic role.
  • Experience in data analysis, business intelligence, particularly with retail/POS data.
  • Experience with forecasting, predictive modeling, and reporting is a plus.
  • Data Analysis and Visualization: Proficiency in Excel, Tableau, or other visualization tools.
  • Leadership and project management abilities are a plus.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% with a valid passport.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Leadership and project management skills with the ability to execute and report on initiatives.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset and the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle complex datasets.
  • Proactive and results-oriented, with a focus on driving actionable insights from data.
  • Understands and can interpret quantitative and qualitative research methods (e.g., survey design, data analysis).
