As part of Driscoll’s Brand & Product Marketing Department and a valued member of the dynamic Omnichannel Marketing team, the Digital Marketing Specialist plays a key role in Driscoll’s brand-building activities around increasing brand awareness, broadening consumer demand, and strengthening affinity with our core berry users. In this role, the Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for the co-development of an integrated digital marketing strategy and the execution of the strategy and performance analysis on an assigned mix of digital platforms and touchpoints.

Responsibilities

DIGITAL MARKETING TECHNOLOGY: Support digital strategic initiatives through the use of technology across owned platforms to ensure long-term best practices. This includes becoming the subject matter expert on one or more technological platforms (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Social Studio, etc.), and ongoing assessment of these technological platforms to ensure that digital goals are met or seek out new platforms for more efficient and scalable solutions.

WEBSITE STRATEGY:  In collaboration with manager, lead the definition, strategy and execution of new website features and functionalities for driscolls.com. Identify and socialize the needs and interests of consumers to determine the optimal website experience that will improve the user experience and drive an increase of website engagement. Coordinate and project-manage cross-functional teams and digital agency to deploy new features and functionalities on driscolls.com.

PAID MEDIA: Coordinate digital agencies to develop and execute paid media campaigns across Social Media, YouTube, and Programmatic to maximize reach, engagement, and acquire consumers wherever they are in their digital journey. Analyze campaign results to create recommendations for improvements and optimization. Keep stakeholders informed about the performance of paid campaigns against stated business objectives.

DATA, ANALYTICS, INSIGHTS: Apply learnings from data drive insights to increase consumer reach, engagement, and acquisition across the Driscoll’s digital ecosystem (web, social, loyalty). This includes optimizing digital reporting to be centralized and readily available for digital and cross-functional teams; identifying opportunities of synergy across digital platforms to forge a cohesive Consumer experience; leveraging digital data and insights as inputs for omnichannel marketing campaign strategies; and applying test and learn methodologies to maximize campaign performance.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Collaborate within the Brand & Product Marketing team and cross-functional teams to maximize the impact of Driscoll's digital performance. Provide direction and feedback to creative agencies to ensure projects are aligned with Driscoll’s brand architecture, communication strategy, time, and budget.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage a set of GL codes within the Brand Marketing budget.
  • Vendor management and collaboration.
  • Responsible for managing activities in collaboration with cross-functional departments to accomplish projects.
  • Represents Driscoll’s in an ethical and business-like professional manner in all interactions with growers, co-workers, suppliers, customers and the business community at large.
  • Ensure the security of Driscoll’s confidential and proprietary information and materials.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Occasional domestic and international travel required.

Compensation & Benefits:


The following information is provided in good faith as a general description of the salary range and benefits for the position posted.  The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate is dependent upon experience, skills, education, work location, internal pay equity, and other objective job-related factors. 

Salary Range estimated for the Digital Marketing Specialist is: $ 52,100 to 73,000 USD.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Requirements

  • B.S. or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration
  • 1-2 years of marketing experience
  • Ability to work with key stakeholders and manage multiple projects across the enterprise.
  • Strong analytical skills; Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable with sourcing and working with data in different platforms, combining to analyze performance results.
  • Strong understanding of digital trends, best practices, and engagement drivers within a B2C environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with computer programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), and an understanding of basic statistics.
  • Proficient in using social media technology (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok)
  • Content creation skills including photography, photo editing, shooting Reels are a big plus!
  • Strong analytical skills; Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • California driver’s license and the ability to be covered under company-sponsored vehicle insurance program.
  • A valid passport and the ability to travel internationally without restrictions.
