About the Opportunity
The Senior Director, Global Business Transformation – Strategy & Planning, will serve as a strategic leader for Driscoll’s digital transformation initiative, also referred to as the Aurora Program. The Aurora program is a multi-year, company-wide initiative to modernize the business processes and platforms upon which the company operates leveraging Oracle Cloud as the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform. The program is anticipated to last up to five years and will cover all the Business Units and geographies in which the company operates (except for Australia). The position reports to the VP, Global Business Transformation. The Global Business Transformation team will provide an operational structure that enables an efficient, accurate and reliable foundation for the Aurora program and ensures impacted business stakeholders are properly supported. It is expected this leadership role will sunset once the Aurora program concludes which will require this leader to find a new position within the company. This leader will work closely with Program Leadership, Program Management Office (PMO) leadership, Change Management, Master Data, System Implementation (SI) vendors and Global IS to plan, align and strategize on program deliverables to ensure the program workstreams have clarity to effectively deliver program objectives. The leader is well-versed leading cross-functional teams through technology-related change – someone who has experience with technology, but also the process and people impact that accompany it. The Senior Director of Global Business Transformation possesses strong leadership skills, including (a) the ability to influence the prioritization of opportunities within the Aurora program and workstream(s); (b) the ability to guide global, cross-functional teams to synchronize competing program deliverables and timelines along with scenario planning and risk mitigation strategies; and (c) set expectations and lead quality assurance reviews to foster an environment of excellence and deliverables that will withstand the test of time.Responsibilities
This leader will be responsible for the following activities:
• Collaborates with Program Leadership and Core Team members to plan, align and define critical project deliverables. Develops clear, concise, and consistent templates for team members to use to complete project deliverables.
• Develops communication to set expectations to team members regarding the timing, approach, content, and quality of deliverables
• Monitors the content of deliverables while in process to provide real-time feedback to team members on the quality of the work
• Identifies and escalates tracks that are falling behind schedule or struggling to complete deliverables to the expected level of quality
• Collaborates on program plan deliverables to define the “why, when, how and who” to ensure program priorities can be easily communicated and executed
• Collaborates with internal and external partners to proactively establish success criteria to complete program level milestones; this includes developing strategies and supporting plans that account for complex, cross-functional workstreams, and intersecting platforms across multiple stakeholder groups (i.e., Program leadership, BU leadership, IS, Vendors, Workstreams, etc.)
• Partners with Change Management Lead, global IS, HR, Program and Business team members to create a Center of Excellence (COE) to ensure Aurora program stakeholders are well informed and prepared to engage on program level requests, deliverables
• Lead implementation business scenario planning to mitigate risk and plan for transitional business processes. This includes leading planning efforts to define interim-state requirements across Business Units until new ERP is fully implemented across all identified geographies
• Closely collaborates with Change Management team to ensure business process and technology changes are accounted for within program deliverables to drive organizational adoption
• Lead discussions focused on creating alignment around future state operating model to support on-going platform and process sustainability. Future state vision should drive a holistic approach across Global IS and the Business to ensure global business unit needs are defined and aligned ensuring the business is prepared to support on-going Oracle quarterly releases
• Understand the activities of the System Implementation Vendor(s) in collaboration with IS, Program Management Office and Program Leadership to lead business focused planning for seamless execution
• Performs Quality Assurance reviews of key program deliverables
• Co-chair global design committee (pre and post implementation) to maintain transformation momentum
• Domestic and international travel required up to 25%
• Represents Driscoll’s in an ethical and business-like professional manner in all interactions with growers, co-workers, suppliers, customers and the business community at large

Candidate Profile
• Undergraduate degree in business or related field, MBA preferred but not required.
• 10+ years of experience in a large complex business environment that is undergoing rapid transformation.
• 20+ years of proven track record of managing large and complex initiatives that sit at the intersection of business process and technology.
• Recent hands-on program management experience with a global ERP system implementation with a large (> $2B) company; preferably with a Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG), Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or advanced agricultural company. Preference would be for the candidate to have successfully led a large ($20M+) global ERP implementation project.
• Excellent working knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle is preferred).
• Strong functional and technical knowledge of SaaS based solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate executive messaging and present to Steering Committees, Directors, Project Sponsors, and other stakeholders.
• Experience in developing, interacting, and maintaining excellent relationships with internal customers and working with external strategic partners / vendors.
• Proven experience influencing cross-functional partners to achieve strategic objectives.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, developing environment with excellent organizational skills and thorough attention to detail.
• A valid passport and the ability to travel internationally (up to 25%) without restrictions.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to be covered under company-sponsored vehicle insurance program.
Compensation & Benefits:

The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate is dependent upon experience, skills, education, work location, internal pay equity, and other objective job-related factors.
Salary Range estimated for Senior Director Global Business Transformation: $149,300 to $220,000 USD.
