About the Opportunity

Administration and phytosanitary diagnostic process support for all nursery operation areas, to process all phytosanitary samples to make diagnostic related to pest, diseases and physiology also give them a recommendation control for the pathogens. Research and development protocols to make confidence diagnostic on time and quality focused to the operations area and work closely aligned with DOTA CS and plant health team.

Responsibilities

• Administrate laboratory resources and development AOP for the Lab. Responsible to process and development diagnostics for all berries crops related the pest, diseases and physiology requested by the different nurseries areas.

• Responsible of the administration and control for the diagnostics with external laboratories. Also coordinate with plant healt manager the testing required for the B&FN and work with Regulatory government to import and export other BU.

• To develop monthly reports about the phytosanitary status like Dashboard and update about the main diseases and alternative controls for the operations

• Communicate on time (Dashboard) to the different nursery areas about the findings in the Diagnostic Lab.

• To develop trials about the main phytosanitary issues on the Nursery Operation for all berry crops and generate results to public on Berrynet.

• Maintains diagnostic records in DOTA Diagnostics Database.

Candidate Profile

• Master Degree/ Ph D.: Phytopathology, Microbiology, physiology, entomology  and related areas

• Advanced English

• 4 years on Diagnostic Lab for phytopathology

• Phytosanitary diagnostic reports

• Planning

• DB development

• Statistic analyze

• Communication and interpersonal relations

• Experience managing people

• Drivers license
