About the Opportunity

**This is a Hybrid role** The Senior Business Program Manager will be responsible for providing leadership and management of the planning, coordination, scheduling, and execution of Driscoll’s next generation of Enterprise Business Applications (EBA) for Driscoll’s of the Americas (DOTA). This role will work in partnership with Business Unit department leaders, Information Services (IS) and program resources to complete deliverables as dictated by defined program scope, schedule, and budget from discovery through post-implementation support. The Senior Business Program Manager role will also work collaboratively with IS and cross-functional EBA program leads in support of developing and delivering the EBA program's objectives and strategy to ensure program application implementations are consistently and successfully executed. Ensures analytical assessments are conducted to evaluate impact to individual departments or business unit based on application implementations.


  • Oversight of the planning, development, scheduling, and execution of Driscoll’s next generation EBA program (or ERP equivalent).  Includes responsibilities for managing sub-teams to ensure business needs are tracked and achieved on time and within budget accomplishing program objectives and overall strategy
  • Facilitate the definition of the program scope and objectives in coordination with IS and executive sponsorship
  • Articulate how different existing platforms (e.g., Warehouse Management System or WMS, Customer Relationship Management or CRM) will integrate with the EBA platform creating a cohesive digital ecosystem
  • Effectively align short-term program objectives with long-term successful execution of the EBA program within Driscoll’s of the Americas (DOTA)
  • Partner cross-functionally with both internal and external technical and business stakeholders
  • Manage day-to-day program tasks including creating and distributing meeting agendas, minutes, action items, and other related documentation and administrative program support
  • Be intellectually curious.  Stay abreast of and share industry best practices, particularly regarding EBAs / ERPs
  • Facilitate team meetings effectively, particularly with large and matrixed audiences
  • Motivate team members to work independently and as a team toward the program objectives
  • Serve as EBA program liaison with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Conduct regular status updates with program sponsors and other stakeholders
  • Support financial management team in articulating budget progress and status
  • Maintain and safely archive all EBA related documentation
  • Other duties as assigned

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is required, Master’s degree preferred
  • 8+ years of operational work experience required including at least 3+ years of project management experience, and 3+ years of managing a team of business professionals
  • Certification in Project Management preferred (PMP)
  • Recent direct hands-on program management experience with a global EBA system implementation with a large (> $2B) company; preferably with a Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG), Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or advanced agricultural company
  • Excellent working knowledge of ERP systems, Oracle preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, developing environment with excellent organizational and communication skills and thorough attention to detail
  • Interacts effectively with all levels of management
  • Thrives in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Able to manage change in a global matrixed organization
  • Success leading a team and reaching assigned goals and objectives
  • Familiarity with Information Services (IS) concepts preferred
  • Experience identifying potential roadblocks and obstacles to organizational projects
  • Some travel may be required (up to 10% domestic and international)
  • Valid US driver’s license and the ability to be covered under company-sponsored vehicle insurance program
  • A valid passport and the ability to travel internationally without restrictions
