Team leader with multi-disciplinary team members enabled to complete all necessary infrastructure architecture, design, implementation, and management of the EBA project, especially Oracle Fusion ERP.

Take the lead in defining our EBA infrastructure architecture to implement our new Oracle Fusion cloud ERP and associated applications, services, and integrations. 1

Manage a team of engineers to design, build, and deploy all necessary infrastructure components for the new Oracle cloud ERP and all other Enterprise Business Applications. 1

Coordinate architecture decisions with senior infrastructure, application infrastructure, and the security team to ensure all requirements, both functional and non-functional, are met. 1

Represent the infrastructure team with the architecture review board, both as a presenter of new infrastructure solutions and an evaluator of proposed solutions by other members and teams. 1

Align infrastructure tools and process with application design, build, testing, security evaluation, performance and load testing, failure testing, and deployment processes to ensure rapid design, prototype, deployment, and maintenance are enabled. 2

Ensure that all key infrastructure requirements around disaster recovery, performance, high availability, recoverability, monitoring, security, automation, and manageability are achieved for all projects, especially focused on the ERP implementation. 2

Mentor, inspire, and guide the development of technical staff. 2

Research options for delivering new services, improving existing services, and/or replacing services and platforms with new alternatives. 3

Participate in the technology evaluation and feedback process for new applications, services, platforms, vendors, etc. 3

Conduct process, product, and platform improvement activities to continuously improve the delivery of information services to the organization. 4

Provide technical leadership and decision making for designated infrastructure projects and initiatives. 4

Conduct work breakdown exercises to determine project cost estimates for resource time, licensing, hosting, hardware, and other expenses necessary to successfully complete the project/initiative. 4

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Requirements ➢ Education, Knowledge and Experience Academic Degree:

• Bachelors Degree and/or equivalent experience

• Masters Degree preferred Professional experience on the job:

• 8-12 years infrastructure engineering, architecture

• 4-6 years (recent) Oracle Cloud ERP Implementation

• 4-6 years project/team leadership experience

Professional experience on the functional area:

• 12+ years Infrastructure Areas of experience:

• Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP – Multiple successful implementations would be ideal. • Infrastructure and Cloud Services Architecture

• Network, Service, and/or Core Service Architecture/Engineer

• Project Management/Work Breakdown/Cost and Labor Estimation Certifications and Technical skills: Add level of expertise Basic/Intermediate/Advanced/Expert

• Expert – Oracle Fusion ERP Infrastructure Implications, deployment, accessibility, performance, and disaster recovery

• Advanced – Infrastructure Architecture in Cloud (public, private, hybrid)

• Advanced Infrastructure Architecture in Network, Server, or Core Services technical areas

• Advanced – Global performance management of cloud, network, server, SaaS, and/or PaaS Foreign Language:

• None required, Spanish highly valuable, but Mandarin, Arabic, or French would be helpful as well. Experience Managing People (years):

• 4+ years of managing technical teams to deliver project and/or operational results Preferred (other) Qualifications

• Previous experience with infrastructure automation, devops pipeline development, testing automation, security evaluation automation, and/or workflow automation is highly desirable.

• Experience with orchestration tools/platforms is desirable.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Agriculture or perishable product industry experience.

• Experience in global infrastructure operations and management of an international company.

• International travel will be required for this position in the future (Mexico, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Morocco, and China are all possible destinations). • Creativity, flexibility, and the perseverance to work through the ups and downs of a multiyear implementation project.

• EBA will operate vast majority of the company for the foreseeable future.

• Project success will be dependent on infrastructure success.

• Multiple technical, business, and process tracks will require extensive coordination with/by the person in this role. Innovation / Decision Making Specify the decision-making level the position must have regarding new projects, products, procedures, or decision-making.

Compensation & Benefits:

The following information is provided in good faith as a general description of the salary range and benefits for the position posted.  The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate is dependent upon experience, skills, education, work location, internal pay equity, and other objective job-related factors. 

Salary Range estimated for Infrastructure Architect/EBA Project Lead $122,600 - $187,200 USD.
