ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY Driscoll’s Strawberry Inc. is seeking a Service Desk Engineer to be part of a growing and exciting team. This role will integrate, test, distribute, and support client applications and operating system software for Driscoll’s endpoint environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding and experience in endpoint engineering and be able to perform in compliance with policy guidelines and within timeframes as defined in the team’s SLAs and or project requirements. As a Service Desk Engineer, you are responsible for the on-premises/cloud management solution to manage desktops, laptops, and mobile devices on your network or internet-based. This role will work with cloud-enabled solutions like Intune, Azure Active Directory (AD), Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, and other cloud services. Use Configuration Manager (SCCM) to deploy apps, software updates, and operating systems. Monitor compliance, query, and act on clients in real-time. In this role, you will support Driscoll’s in the following locations: North America, South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. In this position, you’ll become part of a technically diverse team including but not limited to Service Desk Specialists, Network Engineers, System Administrators, and Database Professionals. Together this team provides IT Operations and Supports the Global Information Services team at Driscoll’s Strawberry Inc.

Responsibilities

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement, administer, configure, and support the SCCM Enterprise environment
  • Maintain and update Windows Server OS
  • Desktop deployment automation, design, migration, and troubleshooting
  • Manage and maintain a workstation image for large environments
  • Contribute to standards for deploying enterprise desktop technologies
  • Deployment and installation of Microsoft Office products 10 &11
  • Investigate, analyze, and resolve technical issues and actively pursue mechanisms for preventing or automating the response to reoccurrences
  • Group Policy Documentation
  • Pushing Images
  • Implementing security policies for applications and operating systems utilizing Group Policy
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Candidate Profile

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field of study; Experience may substitute for the Degree
  • Experience implementing, administering, configuring, supporting SCCM Enterprise environment
  • Knowledge of the Windows registry, the interaction of drivers within the OS, and unattended/silent installs of Windows operating systems
  • Functional working and debugging knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems
  • Group Policy - creating and managing
  • Experience utilizing automated technologies for the deployment of desktop systems
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 environment
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required

Preferred Qualifications & Leadership Competencies

  • Prefer candidates with industry-recognized certifications such as CompTia Server+ or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
  • 3+ years comparable professional experience working as either a System Administrator or a System Engineer within a Microsoft Windows environment preferred
  • Valid driver’s license, ability to be covered under company-sponsored vehicle insurance program
  • A valid passport and the ability to travel internationally without restrictions
