Description:
There's no better pairing for a healthy smoothie than strawberries and almonds. Aside from the way their flavors blend, they both deliver heart-healthy nutrients. In this smoothie, almonds are also blended with almond milk, a great alternative for dairy-free diets as well.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Driscoll's Strawberries, quartered
  • 1/4 cups soaked blanched almonds
  • 3 fresh dates, pitted and chopped
  • 6 ounces almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 4 ice cubes
  1. Place strawberries, almonds, dates, almond milk and honey in blender and blend until fruit is puréed.
  2. Add ice and blend until smooth. Serve cold.
