• 1 purchased ready-to-unroll pie crust
  • 1/2 Cup heavy cream
  • 2 Tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1/2 Tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 Tablespoons semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 Package (8 ounces) Driscoll's Strawberries
  1. LINE a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. PREHEAT oven to 400°F.
  3. SPRINKLE work surface lightly with flour.
  4. PLACE pie crust on work surface and UNROLL.
  5. DIP 4-inch heart-shaped cookie cutter lightly into flour.
  6. CUT OUT 6 cookies from pie crust using cookie cutter.
  7. PLACE cookies onto prepared baking sheet.
  8. BAKE 12 – 14 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. ALLOW cookies to cool completely.
  10. POUR 1/2 cup heavy cream into a mixing bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer.
  11. ADD 2 tablespoons powdered sugar and ADD 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract.
  12. BEAT until stiff peaks form.
  13. PLACE whipped cream into refrigerator until needed.
  14. PLACE 2 tablespoons semi-sweet chocolate chips into a small heatproof bowl.
  15. PLACE bowl into microwave.
  16. SET microwave power to medium and COOK chocolate chips 15 seconds.
  17. STIR chocolate.
  18. REPEAT in brief intervals until chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
  19. DRIZZLE thin stripes of melted chocolate over 2 heart cookies and SET ASIDE all heart cookies.
  20. SLICE 1 strawberry in half lengthwise and SET ASIDE.
  21. HULL remaining strawberries and SLICE into 1/4-inch slices.
  22. PLACE 1 undecorated heart cookie onto each of 2 dessert plates.
  23. SPREAD whipped cream over heart cookies.
  24. PLACE strawberry slices onto cookies.
  25. PLACE 1 undecorated heart cookie onto each dessert.
  26. SPREAD whipped cream over heart cookies.
  27. PLACE strawberry slices onto cookies.
  28. PLACE 1 chocolate-striped cookie onto each dessert.
  29. PLACE a dollop of whipped cream onto each dessert.
  30. PLACE reserved 1/2 sliced strawberry onto each dessert.
  31. SERVE immediately.
