Bob Fisher
Bob joined Driscoll’s in 2001 bringing with him a proven career in sales and marketing. Since graduating from UCLA with a dual major in Political Science and History, Bob has carved out his own path in sports marketing, supporting the Los Angeles Lakers and Kings. He enjoys working with the Driscoll’s foodservice team where he believes that everyone shares the same passion and commitment to their work, to the products and to company… which makes it easy for him to accomplish great things for his customers. Bob’s finest memory over the past nine years has been the establishment of excellent operator programs and relationships that nurture success for both Driscoll’s growers and foodservice customers. Bob and his family enjoy skiing, kayaking, biking, swimming, traveling and attending sporting events and rock concerts together.
Josh Williams
Originally from Valencia, just north of Los Angeles, Josh earned a degree in Welding Technology from College of the Canyons before earning his B.A. in Business Administration/Entrepreneurship from Cal State University Monterey Bay. After graduating in May 2010, Josh started working at Driscoll’s, as an Intern Analyst with the Product Business Management group. In January 2011, he joined the growing Foodservice Sales team. Josh has brought a strong sense of commitment, dedication and loyalty to the team, as well as a never-ending eagerness to learn about Driscoll’s and the produce industry. He spends his free time with his family and enjoys skating, surfing, and snowboarding on the weekends.
Randy Benko
Randy has been connected to the fresh produce industry and berries for over forty years, starting with summer jobs in the Pajaro Valley picking ollalie berries and weeding strawberry fields. After graduating from UCLA in 1980 with a degree in economics Randy moved to Park City, Utah. After three years, he moved to northern California and started his career at Driscoll’s. He has had many roles and responsibilities over the last 23 years primarily focused on sales and sales management. Randy took the helm as leader of the foodservice sales team in 2000. Randy and his wife have three children, all in college. He has enjoyed coaching youth and high school sports for many years and spends time cycling, skiing, fishing and keeping up on sports.
Danielle Avila
Daniella earned a degree in Agricultural Business Management from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and joined Driscoll’s as a Foodservice intern in March 2010. In June 2011, she became the newest member of the Driscoll’s Foodservice Sales team, where her dedication and drive has been a big asset. She enjoys working near her hometown of Monterey in the hub of California’s berry industry, and prides herself on providing excellent customer service to her clients every day. She spends her free time with family and friends camping at her favorite lake, riding bikes, and listening to country music.
Manny Gomez
Ever since joining the Driscoll’s foodservice team in 2006, Manny has learned, lived and loved the Driscoll’s approach to business. Throughout the process Manny finds enjoyment and fulfillment in forming lasting partnerships with his customers. The foodservice team spirit keeps Manny upbeat and enthusiastic to bring creative ideas to his customers - which are one of the reasons for the long-term partnerships. Manny spends his time away from work keeping busy with a variety of kid-centered family activities. One of ways Manny keeps his cool is to enjoy his specialty strawberry beverage, Strawberry/Banana Licuado “a la Manny”.
Shannon Pernetti
To Shannon, being part of the Driscoll’s Foodservice Team is like having a second family. She draws inspiration from these loyal and dedicated people on a daily basis. A constant flow of activity keeps her on her toes and eager for more. Shannon finds enjoyment in creating and maintaining customer relations; “connecting a name to a face” ranks at the top of her most memorable moments at Driscoll’s. In her spare time, Shannon enjoys spending time with family and friends camping, snow skiing, traveling and spending time at the beach. Her favorite tip on how to serve berries: Eat them right out of the clamshell!
