Community Involvement
Since our company was founded, we have been committed to making a difference in the communities where we live and work. We also want to empower, encourage and support our employees and farmers in the activities that they believe will improve the communities in which they live. As a family business, we honor and respect our people and their commitment to their families and communities.
We are actively involved in contributing funds in communities where we operate to provide scholarships, medical care programs and other services that better the lives of our employees, our independent farmers and their employees. The community involvement programs we support are primarily focused on improving services and resources for farm workers and their families.
Driscoll's goal is to inspire employees and farmers throughout the company in their philanthropic expression. We support local committees of employees and farmers to identify needs and programs to participate in. We don’t want to just write a check - we want to get involved and strengthen our connection with the community.
Driscoll's offers many avenues of community support including grants, matching programs, school support programs and product donations. In addition, our Dollars-for-Doers program matches employee volunteer hours with a financial contribution for every hour volunteered.
